Re: where do you live?
Before I got married I lived in a Co-op and I loved it. They have some really nice communities and many have 2-3 bedrooms. There were lots of people living there with children.

Re: where do you live?
I painted rooms and had pergo put down. You own it so you can do anything on the inside as long as you don't change the structure of the building. (ie knock down walls)

Re: where do you live?
We are just about to move into a co-op. It's a 2 bedroom, only one floor in the building. (So we have nobody above our below us!!!!!! It even comes with a full attic!) We are awaiting our close date and then we will start painting. A few of the units we saw actually did knock down a wall or two.

Re: where do you live?
We live in a co-op in Middle Island. We are on the 2nd floor, with a 2 bedroom unit.
We have carpeting throughout, but you are allowed to decorate the inside however you want. We've painted the nursery and will be continuing to decorate. The bedrooms are fairly large, so even though we only have the one floor, there should be plenty of space for the baby and the baby's things...
We've been there for about 2 years, and we're planning on staying for another year or two...

Re: where do you live?
I live in a condo and we are having our first baby.
We have a 2 bdroom, so do not forsee having too much problems. We have a pool and a gym.. which should be very used after I give birth and look like a whale
You can do what ever you want in the condo as long as its inside your place - you own it.

Re: where do you live?
DH and I are expecting our 1st in September. We live in a condo and so far we have plenty of room. Not so much room for storage, but plenty of living space. We have a 3 bedroom in Holtsville so we should be good for a few years. Good luck!
