Where do you begin
So i figured i would just pop over to the babies r us website and see what i like and all. Well WHERE DO YOU BEGIN!! i mean everything looks the same yet the price range varies extremely. How do you know which is the best to get. YIKES it may take me the whole 9 months to figure out 1 item alone. LOL

Re: Where do you begin
I actually started with the baby bargains book and amazon reviews! It was way too overwhelming the first time I saw the recommended registry list on the BRU site... I'm glad I started at 12 weeks. It seriously took me months to make those decisions.....

Re: Where do you begin
I went to BRU about 4 times in person to register. I started with the big items (stroller, pack and play, high chair, etc) and then slowly worked towards the smaller stuff (bottles, pacifiers, etc.) I took my Baby Bargains with me every time I went and that really helped. I spent a lot of time trying things out and comparing items. I also found the reviews on BRU website helpful. After I had my registry in place I went online to tweak, add, and delete things. It took a while but I am happy with my registry. Just take it a little bit at a time and try to keep from getting overwhelmed. It will all come together, it just takes time. Good luck and have fun!!

Re: Where do you begin
I started with the bedding set. I thought it was easy to start from there. Once you get a color scheme you can add the sheets, blankets, etc. After that I picked out a pattern of gear and registered for each piece. I picked the BornFree bottles because at the time they were the only BPA free bottles that BRU had. Good luck.

same here except i used BRU website reviews instead of amazon ones. it took some time to figure it all out! if you search on LIF you can find posts where some of the mommies recommend their favorite items. that was very helpful too.

Re: Where do you begin
I had my best friend send me a list of items from babies r us that she absolutely could not live without! i will ask a few more of my friends to do the same. I will research on line and then make my decision.

Re: Where do you begin
I used the baby bargains book and stalked all my friends that just had babies within the year and compared registries..in the end I went with what Baby Bargains recommended and consumer reports. GOOD LUCK!! I agree it is overwhelming at first

Re: Where do you begin
I used the BRU reviews to narrow everything down and all my friends opinions that have babies already
