Where did you take your Childbirth Classes?

If you took a Lamaze/Childbirth class, did you take it at the hospital? through your doctor? or through another private company? How did you decide where to take it? and what was the approximate cost?

We didn't actually take a class, just rented those laugh and learn videos at home.

My Doctor suggested an RN that works at NSPlainview. She does the class in his office. She didn't have one until October 15th and I felt that was too close for comfort.

I found New Baby Belly in Massapequa through searches on here. I took the Breast Feeding class and the Childbirth Education class. Both were great. The prices are right on their website but I think it was $275 for the both of them?

we are taking it through good sam, where i will be delivering. its $120 a couple for either 5 2/5 hr classes or 1 8-hr class including a tour of the hospital.

We took everything at New Baby Belly. I can't say enough about them! We did Childbirth Ed, Infant/Child CPR, Breastfeeding, and prenatal yoga there. Everything was awesome. Their prices are really reasonable, and they offer discounts if you register for more than one class. The classes are small, fun, and laid back, lots of opportunity for questions, etc. Love them!

We took our childbirth class and a breastfeeding class at our hospital. i do have the name of a nurse who will come to your house one night and do everything. a few of my friends used her and really liked her.
