Where did you get your child's 1st birthday pics taken?
I've seen so many gorgeous pics on the boards - I'm really torn as to where to get aidan's done!
Where did you get your child's pics taken? Why? Were you pleased?

Target on Hempstead turnpike in Levittown. I was very pleased, the girl was soooo friendly & patient. I went there b/c if you go online there is a coupon for 1 free 8x10 & all the sheets are just $3.99. I spent $60 with 6 8x10's & 24 thank you cards. The pictures came out great. Good luck.

We went to Kiddie Kandids in westbury and were very happy with the shots. They came out great!
1 week earlier we went to sears and we left with nothing We usually have good experience with sears but, I'll think we'll make kiddie kandids our photo place.
Kiddie Kandids backgrounds and props are really awesome too!!

Kiddie Kandids, I love them!
You get your prints 5 min after they are done.
They also offer coupons or discounts.
I also order a few and not get crazy,...cause I go home and scan them and then get reprints through snapfish

Kiddie Kandids.
I had been going to Sears or JCPenney for pics, but hadn't been thrilled, so I "splurged" for Thomas' First Birthday Pics. I was very happy, and will go to KK from now on.

I just did my son's last week (he'll be one on Friday) and were very happy. I used KK for my older son every birthday as well. Always had a good experience.
We are having a mickey themed b-day party thus the stuffed toy we brought and t-shirt.

I take all my own photos. This way, I can have things that are relevant to us in the picture. Instead of "Background #13", we have part of the house, or furniture, or favorite blanket, etc.
DS is in front of our Buddha sculpture in our "Zen Garden"
