I am sure some mommies could use it.

Well, there's tons of places. I would suggest your local food pantry. I do that, and also I tend to give it to a nun who runs a service for women out here on the North Fork. She really makes sure it goes to good use, so I try to give it to her. HTH!

Yes.

Or do you belong to a church? Ask if they have someone who takes it, or knows of a woman's shelter that will take it.

There is a place in Wantagh I think. My friend said our church told her they help people who need it.

Re: where can you donate formula?

a church with a food pantry would probably be a good place.

I wonder if a Women's Shelter would take them?

I take donationsChat Icon I started a charity called "Baby Bunny" The formula goes to women in Africa as an alternative to breast feeding. You see, HIV infected Mommies have a 40 to 50% better chance of not passing HIV to their babies with donated medication. However, once they are born babies are contracting the disease through breast milk. These women live in huts so where are they suppose to buy formula? Either the baby will die right away from stavation or two years from now of AIDS. It's heartbreaking.

No pressure, but forum mail me if you like. I would love to take it off your hands! Chat Icon
