I was Marsha Brady one year and had to look for the same thing. Instead of spending the $ on the boots themselves, you can get these pleather zip up things that go over your shoes and look just like (well, enough like) the boots you're talking about. I was in college when I got them so I don't know of a store around here but I'm sure anywhere that sells Halloweek costumes will have them. They're usually marketed as 'go-go boots'.
