Where are UGGs suppose to be made?
I just got my UGGs from Zappos and they are made in China!!
I thought they would be made Australia?? I just want to make sure I don't get som cheap knock off.
They came in UGGs box and cost $139 for short classic!

i think they USED to be made in australia, but once they became crazy popular, they moved the factory to china for cheaper supplies and labor.

Yes and there is a definite difference in quality.
You can always get the no name brand ugg boots. They are made in Australia and the quality is just as good if not better. I am not sure if they have as much of a selection in the US as they do in they do here.
ETA: Ugg brand ugg boots are an American company anyway. You can't find Ugg brand ugg boots here (Australia).

when my parents went to australia, they bought me orange uggs. they are a no name brand made in australia.
ugg brand is made in china
the word ugg in australia would be like saying jeans here
it's a broad terms for the sheepskin boots that have similar soles to the classics and another style that i can't think of, a thicker bottom
Now Ugg Australia is owned by Deckers who manufactures Tevas, Simple and more...
