When you're down, what do you do to lift yourself up
i've been sad the past few weeks. to make myself feel good, i'm been wearing make up everyday. it makes me feel good. i was even getting compliments on it.

When I'm really down I put on the theme song from Snoopy and dance like the Peanuts characters until I'm exhausted.

Retail therapy always helps...but then I get the CC bill and the cycle starts all over again. 
Seriously though - I put on my ipod and go for a long walk, share a nice bottle of wine with DH or spend some serious time in the kitchen cooking. Oddly enough, cooking makes me feel better!

When I lived alone, I would rearrange the furniture in my apartment.
Or dye my hair a new color.
Lately to feel better about the way I look (which I do not feel good about at all), I force myself to wear a skirt and boots wiht heels to work once a week instead of looking like the schlub I do the rest of the time!
