When your husband/SO is sick...
and you don't want to get sick. What do you do????
Yikes I am going to NY next week and can not get sick. I am feeling a little off today already...help please!

My DH has the flu now but we still sleep in the same bed. We only use different comforters and change the beddings daily and spray the hous with lysol. Also I will wash my hands very often.

I wash the bedding daily until he is better. I wipe all the door knobs (including fridge handle/cabinets/remote for tv , etc) with alcohol and clean the bathroom daily. I did this for about 5 days last time DH had the stomach flu and I stayed healthy! Open a window too! Getting the air moving always helps.

Depends on what he has. If its the flu or anything viral, I'll let him have the bedroom and I'll either stay in the guest room or couch.
If it is a cold or something along those lines I we stay in the same room. I just disinfect the house daily and wash my hands non stop.

I addition to all of these things I also change the towels everyday and make him change his toothbrush and then change it again after he's well.

He gets the bed, I get the couch
I drink airborne
I walk around with the lysol wipes and disinfect everything he touchs
I take Vitamin C supplements to boot immune system.
Wash my hands constantly.

I take lots of airbourne and sleep in the spare bedroom. When its reversed, DH sleeps on the couch. He says he needs a TV in front of him, which our spare bedroom does not have, it has a daybed

We sleep in separate beds and make sure the can of Lysol is nearby. Wipe down all the knobs, counters, faucets, etc religiously. Double up on vitamin C.
Zicam is a good fighter too...

I take tons of Airborne when he is sick.
Also- wash my hands often.
Lysol things down
Change sheets
But you can't kill every germ he haswhen living in the same house...
That's why the airborne is the most important part for me.
Helps me fight off whatever he has

I slept on the couch
Stayed in another room most of the time
Sprayed Lysol wherever he was
If he used my blanket or pillow I switched to different ones.

I've never slept in another bed or on the couch, but if he got the stomach bug I would.

i change the sheets as much as i can to keep the germs out of our bed, i take an extra dose of my vitamin c's and an extra dose of my multivitamin and hope for the best. i mean, we live together - and when he is sick (like the other day - when he was SO sick) i can't avoid seeing him and being around him. on top of that he needs me to take care of him - make him tea, make him soup, bundle him up when he was shivering from a fever, clean up the puke after he ralphed all over the floor, etc.
i mean - i don't get extra close and kiss him and stuff but i had to feel his head for a fever - hope you don't get sick!

I wash my hands so often, take airborne along with Echineysa throughout the day to keep boosting your immune system, wash the sheets more frequently and no kissing!! My DH has been sick and I never get it.
