When your DC has a cold/cough do you take them out places...
And I dont mean kids places because I would never infect all those kids but like take them to stores, etc.
DD has had a cold since Tuesday and ran a fever with it but the fever broke and now she just has a runny nose and cough. I havent taken her anywhere but to my moms and then back home.
The thing is I am off tomorrow and want to take her out for a little bit and then on Sat. I want to take her to the Bayshore St. Paddy's Day parade.
Would you take your DC out? or just stay home. I was so looking forward to our day off and Sat's parade.

I would use your best judgement. if you think shes ok and not getting any worse than I would, especially if it is going to be nice out.

ditto. remember kids cannot "catch" a cold from just going outside...they need to be in contact with other people.

I would play it by ear. If the fever doesn't come back and she seems ok, then I would go ahead and take her.
