When you mop...
do you have more than one bucket of water?
What do you do with your mop afterwards to let it dry out?
What do you mop with? (type of mop and fluid)
Can you tell what I just did?

Re: When you mop...
i used to mop with just a splash of palmolive and warm water...and leave mop in bucket (on of those mops with the "dreadlocks" lol)...and then i'd walk around on an old towel, trying to dry it...
....but i've since crossed over into Swifter land...and love it. it's so simple, no mess, no fuss, you dispose pads right after, it really gets up the dirt, and it's kinda fun...
...it also leaves a nice fresh smell.

Re: When you mop...
I use the swiffer. I gave up my mop 5 years ago and it was the best decision ever.

Re: When you mop...
I use the Method OMop with a different microfiber cloth for non-wood floors and their floor cleaner (not the wood one for non-wood floors, if that makes sense).

Re: When you mop...
the kitchen sink is the "bucket." I use Pine-sol mountain sent. My mop has the spongy thing at the end and I just put it in a corner of the room until it dries out.

Re: When you mop...
i use the swiffer weekly, but honestly i am not too happy with is since it really doesnt clean my tiles very well... once a month i do the full scrubbing with a mop.... i use mop & glo which can be used on tile and hard woods... the type i use actually requires that you spray it on the floor and mop up woth water.. so i just have one bucket with plain water in it... i used to use a sponge mop but dog hair just didnt agree with it... now i have a string mop that the head comes off so i can throw it in my washer... as for letting it dry, i have a full bath in my basement we never use to it dries there

i could not agree more!! everyone thinks im crazy for not loving the swiffer... but even when i sweep before using it, it STILL pushes around dirt on the floor and it def does not get my tiles as clean as a good ol mop lol
i only use the swiffer for quick clean ups like muddy paw prints on the floor

Re: When you mop...
I use this product from the dollar store called "Minsol" (sp?) I love how it smells and HOT water.
I use the mop with the sponge where you squeeze the water out.
I pour the water out in the bathtub and I let it dry in there.

Re: When you mop...
I only have hardwood, even in my kitchen, so i wash down the floor with a mop with some soap and water and then when it dries I use orange glow and a swifter dust sheet. spray it on the floor and spreed out the liquid to clean and shine
