do you expect them to come with their own supplies?

my office mate hired a painter..a friend of a friend of a friend and he came without anything. Just himself. He asked her for a ladder, brushes.etc..

she yelled at the friend of a friend of a friend about it.

how can he come without supplies?

She told my office mate that you wanted a cheap painter...he paints on the side he doesn't have all of the supplies.




I just have to laugh at her.

The only thing I would supply is the paint. I am fussy about the brand.

After that..it's all on the painter - unless we worked out a discounted price if I supplied some of the supplies. I did this with my tile guy - he gave me a big discount if I got the tile, grout and thin-set.

most painter will provide with and without supplies quotes. some people like to price it out both ways...

honestly, SO much easier if they supply everything. if they need another gallon - their problem! they make all the trips etc.
