When you have a free moment
do you take it for yourself (example: come online to LIF or actually eat a meal) or do you rush around to get chores in the house done? I actually feel guilty when I come online because I have tons to do around the house. But this is my first free minute today! What do you all do?

I do both.
Free moment are being divided in
- taking a shower
- eating
- laundry

I shower, clean, do laundry...
I go online or read a book while DD nurses, speaking of which, time for a burp.

In the first few months all free time was for unpacking. We moved the night before DS came for his early visit. Now I use it to do laundry, chores, etc. I keep the computer on and walk by and hit refresh. That's why most of my replies are within a few minutes, then I go an hour or two with nothing. Now that DS is nearly 5 months, we are mainly unpacked!!! (Although our mater bedroom is a diaster of boxes and tubs!) I'm still hardly eating, unless it's something I can unwrap quickly and not have to heat. Not good.

I do both. Cleaning up in the morning during her nap (any dishes, dusting, swiffering, etc.) and do paper-related stuff (bills, prepare dinner, come on here) in the afternoon. I am trying to teach myself to rest a little during her naptime too. It really makes a difference. I actually watched a whole show today!

First I get all my cleaning and other chores done around the house, then I shower, eat breakfastand after that I will go online. I usually eat lunch durin ghis second nap. Most times I actually take a shower when my DS is awake. I just put him in his Newborn to toddler rocker right by the bathroom.

a little bit of everything Like to day DS took his nap at 1 - I got on LIF.. posted for about 30 min then the other 30min cleaned

I think I need to find more balance. There are days where I feel like all I do is work. Then there are days when I feel like I accomplish nothing.

the worst is when sometimes i think about ALL that i have to do then i don't do any of it and then boom, they are awake and i feel like i wasted the little time i had.
so i guess i sit and chill out during my free moments and think about all i have to do!!
