When you found your house, how long did you wait to make an offer?
i made an offer right at the open house.
what did you do?

The first time I saw our house, I was alone. I brought my DH back to see it the next day and we made an offer right then and there. It was accepted the next day! Whenever you find THE house, I don't think there is any reason to wait. Good Luck!! I hope you get your house!!

We saw our condo, talked about it for a while, then went back 2 weeks later with my parents.
We made an offer the same afternoon we saw it the 2nd time.

First house we offered that night. The house we ulimately got...we looked at it twice before making an offer so probably a week. But it was a private showing so we didn't feel stressed to make one immediately.

on our primary residence we offered within two minutes of entering the house, but the house was totally gutted which was exactly what we wanted so there wasn't much to think about.
With one of our investment properties we werent going to make an offer at all but about 2 weeks later I decided to make an offer & it was accepted.

2 weeks after we saw the house. We had a contractor look at it before we made an offer.

As soon as we got home from seeing it we called our realtor to put in an offer. They got a second offer that same day so the next day they asked for best and final offers. We found out 48 hours after seeing the house that our offer was accepted.
However - it was priced below market value because they needed a quick sale. Our offer only won out by $500 and the fact that the sweet old lady selling it really liked us.

Ours was a FSBO so we made an offer after seeing it immediately (while still in the house).
That offer was rejected.
The next morning we offered a bit more and it was accepted that day.

Right away! We bought during the height of the housing market when houses barely stayed on the market. We knew we had to bid immediately.
