When you are watching something you DVR'd
do you forget you can fast forward through the commercials and just watch like it's live tv? I do that all the time.

I do the opposite. I'm constantly trying to fast forward through commercials on shows I'm watching live.

Me too.
Then I hear the depressing BONG of TiVo letting me know that I must apply Head On directly to the forehead.

Re: When you are watching something you DVR'd
Never, It's the other way around for me.
I mostly watch shows that are DVR'd, so when I'm watching something that isn't, I get frustrated when I can't FF through the commercials.

I'm the same way. Sometimes DW hands me the remote when she has it because she can see how antsy I get when she doesn't skip commercials fast enough.

Yes.
But even when I remember, I get yelled at by DH because I'm not doing it fast enough. I fast forward 2x, he likes it 4x.

I always fast forward. That's usually the reason I DVR in the first place.

Same here - about the fast forward, that is.
I tell him to calm down considering we're saving minutes. Just because I have 2 seconds in between my 30 second jumps, instead of his 1 second in between the jumps, I'm STILL saving 28 seconds per click.
