When you are in anxiety mode....
do you eat yourself into oblivion or the opposite?
If something sets me off and I am having anxiety, I have a very difficult time eating. I literally have to force myself. Some of my friends are the opposite - they can't stop eating.

Me too! When I am upset anxious, or depressed I can't eat. I overeat when I'm happy.

Me too.
I always found it strange that people, when faced with anxiety/bad news/etc, will go to food. In the wild, when faced with stress/danger, the animal's defense-mode kicks in. Food is not even a thought. (I watched some nature show recently where this was the topic and found the point fascinating.)
