When will I stop feeling miserable?

Everyone says the morning sickness goes away and you eventually feel better. But I can't see an end in sight.

I always feel exhausted and nauseous. I can't do anything. Seriously. I am barely functioning. I don't feel like a person.

When will I stop feeling this miserable?

Re: When will I stop feeling miserable?

It feels like you will be sick and miserable forever. I know, I have been there twice. It does go away, trust me. One day you will wake up and feel a little better and then each day from that point will get better and better. My M/S usually got better around 12 weeks and went away finally around 15-16 weeks.

Re: When will I stop feeling miserable?

It is different for every person. Most will feel better by the 2nd tri. But honestly I never had a great day during my PG. If it wasn't feeling sick it was something else.

I hope you start feeling better soon

It is awful, I know. You will get better. You have to try to do like a countdown til 12-13 weeks. This part is like your body testing out your strength, emotionally and physically. Today is almost over and it's one less day to feel like crap.

Re: When will I stop feeling miserable?

I would say I started to feel better around 13-14 weeks and sometimes I still have my days. Im 15 weeks 3 days now and Im DEF feeling better than I did, but I will still have a day of exhaustion or a certain food will make me feel sick... But its nothing compared to what I felt so Im not complaining...

Honestly the only thing I can say is just remember its for a good cause... They say the sicker you are the healthier the baby (though no Dr will agree with that) its just a saying but it made me feel better about it anyway... Plus I wanted to be pregnant so bad that feeling sick is a small price to pay and that made me feel better about it too

How far along are you? I was soooo sick until I was about 17 weeks. I couldnt even keep water down Chat Icon Everyone is different though. Did you talk to your Dr? I was put on Zofran which helped a little for the MS.

Just know that you're not alone. I'm actually pushing myself to stay physical, keep moving, eating and drinking but its so hard. NOTHING makes it better...well except for seeing and hearing the baby's heartbeat like I did this morning. It'll pass soon!Chat Icon

Re: When will I stop feeling miserable?

It truly is horrible and I wish there was something I could say to make you feel better Chat Icon I am 25wks 5 days pregnant and although I feel MUCH better then when I was in my 1st tri I am still not completely over the MS. And when its not one thing its something else Chat Icon now its acid reflux thats kicking my butt. You do kind of get us to it after a while but it really is hard to deal with and I hope you will be one of those girls whose MS goes away all of a sudden and you feel great! Chat Icon
