When was DC able to hold his/her bottle?
DS did it today (I've started supplementing when we're out and about- though he'll RARELY take the bottle) I was so proud of him- he's only 19 weeks.

Connor is 8 months and 1 week and still doesn't do it. I'm pretty sure he can, he just doesn't want to. He'd rather scratch and rub his hair while he drinks his bottles!

Re: When was DC able to hold his/her bottle?
I think Jack was about 8 months. Molly has shown no interest...she prefers to wack her hands against the bottle while she eats.

Re: When was DC able to hold his/her bottle?
Ds started doing it regularly around 6 months. Now he feeds himself his bottles almost 100% of the time.

Don't feel so bad. DS is almost 1 and still won't do it! Like Connor, I'm sure my DS can do it. He just doesn't want to. He'd rather scratch and rub his hair as well.

Re: When was DC able to hold his/her bottle?
DS is 4 months and he holds it while in my arms. Sometimes he doesn't want to be bothered, but, most of the time he reaches for it. Im happy because it's some independency, but sad, because he's getting big so quick.

OMG I thought DD was the only baby who did she - usually only at night when she's relaxing to go to sleep she'll sit there with her right hand and whack her bottle! It's so funny! I wonder why they do that!
