when u transitioned to whole milk from formula.......sippy cup or bottle?

Ok so my dd currently drink 4 bottles a day about 4-6 oz each bottle of formula. She will be one this month so I am sure peds will give me the ok to switch to milk.

She also has mastered the sippy cup but currently we only give her water in it....

So my ques....when u switch to milk, and if u had a child that was able to drink from sippy did u give up bottle too or no? I feel bad taking her "ba" away! Did u split it ...like first and last of day from bottle and in between sippy cup? I'm confused.

we plan on ONLY using sippys once we transition to milk

You "should" use sippies. My kids wuldn't take them ergo still get 2-3 bottles a day at 18 mos.

DD gets water from a straw cup, and milk in a sippy cup. I transititioned her from BM to whole milk when she started refusing the bottle. At first I put the BM in the sippy cup, then when I gave up pumping I started giving whole milk in the sippy. She's never had whole milk in anything other than a sippy or a big girl cup.

To this day, Abby wont take milk in a sippy. She drinks juice and water from a sippy or cup with a straw, but never milk. She needs the milk for nutrition since she eats so little so I let her have her bottle for milk. She won't walk down the aisle drinking milk from a bottle so I see it as a battle not worth fighting. Im going to have enough of those when she enters her teens.
