When to start preparation for IVF?

DH and I are planning to start IVF in September. It is more like hoping being that we have "planned" to start about 3 times now, and something always comes up that we had to cancel.

I am just not sure when we should go back to the RE if we want to start in Sept. Should we start monitoring this month? AF is due around the 20th ( ) should we go in for CD3 this month? I also had a hysteroscopy in April to remove polyps, is there a chance that they returned? Is there even a chance we will be able to start in Sept or should I be more realistic and look to October?

I'm not sure about all of your questions, but I know your RE will put you on BCP for 2-5 weeks to "supress" your hormones. If you'd ideally like to start in September, I'd call now.

sometimes you dont need to do BCP- it depends on your RE.

my dr at new england fertility doesnt do a rest down cycle...

so it may happen sooner than you think

I went on CD3 and started BCP for 3 weeks...the last few weeks were meds/injectables/transfers...the whole process took about 6 weeks
