When to send out invites?
My DDs 1st birthday is the first weekend in May. May is insanely busy so I want to make sure I get the invites out early, especially bc my DHs fam is notorious for not rsvping. I also wanted an early rsvp date bc I need to order food based on the final number. When would you send out invites? 6 weeks before, 2 months before? Is that too soon?

When to send out invites?
I usually send out invites 6-8 weeks before. You can then do the RSVP date 2 weeks before since they had plenty of time.

I personally think it's not great to send them out too early, bc people may lose track of it bc it's so far off. I wouldn't send them any more than six weeks out.

For key family members you can send a save the date email now and follow up with the invite
