I read in carsealady that its not necessary but I dont want their heads flopping side to side. When did you remove yours?

Somewhere around 7 months. It was once she got too tall for it to fit comfortably.

I removed it around three months bc I felt DD was too tall for it and she was looking kinda cramped in the carseat. But she is tall for her age.
