When to pack?
Not sure if this has been asked or not, but I am now at 30 weeks and was wondering when I should start getting things together for the hospital. I Know I have time now, but we will be moving hopefully in 2 weeks and want to keep it in the back of my mind.
For those who have had at least 1 birth already what do you recommend packing?
I have seen a list but it seems a little crazy.
BTW I am delivering at Good Sam.

I started packing when I was 32 weeks, I never finished...I delivered early at 35 weeks....its never too early to start

I started a few weeks ago and am stillnot really finished - and I am due Thurs! Its never too early to start, that way you know your prepared just incase you go early

I'm having some trouble with this- all of the clothes & pjs I want to bring to the hospital I wear now on a regular basis. Can't pack them up if I'll need them. Not sure what to do....

I delivered 2 weeks early, so I would pack a bag at least 2 weeks before your due date.

If your really that comfortable with these clothes and dont wanna part with them until your in the hospital maybe always make sure they are seperated from the other laundry.. pack everything else and when the time comes have someone wash and bring them to you. YOu wont be wearing them for at least a day or so after you check into the hospital anyways.

My lamaze teacher said to have your bag packed and in the car for every doctors appointment from 36 weeks on. I am now 38 weeks and it hasn't brought me any luck yet, lol.

I'm 35 weeks and just pulled out the suitcase to start packing. I'm one of those people who HAS to be prepared!

I started making a list of what i need to pack at about 30 weeks. I finished packing by 36 weeks.

Pack as soon as you can....I went in a wek early and had no bag packed....DH was running around like a chicken with his head cut off trying to pack all the things I needed...be prepared you never know.
