When to get breastfeeding bras
I am about 6 weeks from delivery and I hope to breastfeed
When should I get some new bras?
I was also thinking of getting the brestafeeding tanks. Since they have support in them (like a bra)
Any suggestions?

I'm only a week ahead of you & I just bought 2 nursing bra's and a few tanks last week from Motherhood Maternity.
Mine aren't a specific brand. I just remember one was $16 and the other was $18. They looked comfy & they're nice looking lol, so that's really why I got them.

I bought the tanks a few weeks before I delivered, and the bras after. I went up almost 2 cup sizes once I began to BF. The tanks were OK b/c they stretch more & were more forgiving when my cup size went up.

I bought a couple at Motherhood but they feel too tight after I washed them. I might have to get a bigger size.

i got a medela nursing bra but i have a feeling i am going to need one with a LOT more support... it was so thin and stretched so much, i will probably return it and wait until after the baby to buy nursing bras.
ETA: i have two nursing tanks with a good amount of support, they are from motherhood maternity.

How do I know what size to get? I dont know how big the girls will be then lol

I bought a medela nursing bra from the lactation center at the hospital that I delivered at. My breasts were changing sizes so often - I didn't know where I would be come delivery time.

U can buy them from Target. I loved the nursing bras from them. I bought them like 4 weeks before I delivered.

The woman at the maternity store said to come in as close to EDD as possible (I am going 2-3 weeks before) and they still suggest getting a size bigger from what you are then

i go to blums in patchogue, they do the fittings for every bra and will order any bra you want for you. They said to start shopping for nursing bras at about 8 1/2 to 9 months.and they will give you a slightly bigger cup for more expansion.
