When to doctors for 39w Appointment.
I when to the doctors, I am not dilated at all. I had contractions the other day. I had a sonogram done and they estimated the baby at being 9lbs. He told me i may not have the baby till August 11th. I was hoping to have the baby soon. I want to find out what i am having.

I'm in your boat as well. I'm also showing no progress and am due for a biophysical on Wednesday. Doc told me he would induce me if I didn't go on my own by August 5th.  seems to be perfectly happy and content being inside me, but I'm ready to have this kid.

oh you sound just ike me !! only i'm 37 weeks, and my baby is 8lbs 9oz.. and not even trying to come out. i have a c-section date for 8/6.. by then they said she'll be almost 9.5 lbs easily..

Well i was hoping that he would have least told me the date i was going to be in the hospital for the baby. He told me something about the 11th. I think he is crazy cause i have swelling.

That is really late!!! How many days past your due date would the 11th be? I am 38+ and showing no signs of dropping or dilation as well. My dr. won't let me go past 1 week though.

I am so ready to have this baby.... I am almost 38 and will have a growth next wed, the doc said if he is 7 lb then i will go natural at 39 weeks, if I 8 i can choose between c section or natural, if 9 then i will have a c section. I also have tons of amniotic fluid so its so difficult for me to move around, but i feel everyone's pain. Just hang in there ladies, we are almost there!!!!

i have a quick question for us almost there ladies..
is anyone else in pain? like not just annoyed, or tired.. but in physical pain?
i can't turn over.
i can't stand up
i can't sit down
everything on me is swollen.. EVERYTHING.. my legs, my hands, my feet, my fingers, my gums..
if i sit crossed legged and then stretch my legs out, it hurts in my knee joints.. if i sit with my legs stretched out and then cross them it hurts. my wrists hurt.. i have to scooch myself off the bed using my arms because my lower body hurts from the pelvis area all the way down..
sometimes i feel shooting pains from my belly button it feels like something is tearing in there..
is this normal? is anyone else in physical pain?

I think it is normal. I am in alot of pain today I been trying to walk around doing things but i been walking at a slow pace. I hope this means that the baby is coming soon.
