When to change nipples on bottles??
My DS is about 12 weeks, when should I change to the faster flow nipples?

You should change them once the nipples start collapsing and it takes DC longer than usual to drink an entire bottle. I never had to move passed level 2 with my DS.

DS started making slurping noises and becoming frustrated while drinking at 3-4 months. so we went to level 2. he just started seeming frustrated again within the past few weeks, at 5.5 months so we went to level 3.
don't know if this is a universal time frame, but the nipples for the Dr Browns bottles go level 1 - NB, level 2 - 3+ months, level 3 - 6+ months, level 4 (i'm assuming) 9+months.
so you don't ever have to change if your LO seems ok w them, but if they get fussy you can try to up the level.
and when you do it's a bonus for you, b/c they drink their bottles much faster at each level increase!

I never did. I also breast fed so I didn't want the bottle to be easier.

This. We have avent bottle and we change the nipples every 2-3 months. She is on level 4 now at 9 mths.
