When should shower invites go out?
My shower is December 2. My mom and aunt are trying to decide when to mail out the invitations. I think they want to give ample time since it's smack-dab in the middle of the holiday season. Any thoughts?

6-8 weeks before with an RSVP of 2-3 weeks before the date.

Mine went out about 7 weeks before with an RSVP date of a month before. But that's bc we always have slow responders in our family

My shower us on dec 1 and my mom is planning to mail them this weekend. We have our level 2 Friday... So we are just waiting to send them to confirm the sex.

My shower is 12/9 and I believe my sister is putting them in the mail today/tomorrow. I think it's SUPER early but my mom thinks it needs to be this early because of the holidays.

I'm organizing my sisters shower. It's on October 20th. However, we have to give the place a head count 2 weeks before (October 6th), so we made the RSVP date on October 5th. Therefore, invites were mailed out on September 5th.
