When should I plan my sil's shower for?
She is due Dec 27th. Should it be Oct or Nov?
The moms booked early Nov thanks guys.

if either month is an option for all the VIPs, then i'd stick with mid-November. Obviously, if that doesn't work, October is totally fine too.
Unless she's having twins - then choose October

I would actually plan it for late October. With the holidays November and December tend to be very busy months for people so I think you would have a better turn out in October. I just had my sister's shower a few weeks ago and it was exactly two months before her due date. She is due on Aug 2nd and with all the proms, graduations, summer vacations, etc. I wanted to schedule it so there would be little conflict for people.

With DD I was due 1/7 and had it the first weekend in November. So your sister is due a week earlier so you can do either the last week in October or the first in November. Maybe 10/27 or 11/3? Are you planning this as a surprise, which is why you're not asking her?
Usually somewhere between 30 and 34 weeks (which gives you a lot of leeway) is good for a baby shower. Have fun planning!

I'm due January 16th and I think we're having my shower in early to mid November just to avoid the holidays.
I would say anytime in late October through November is fine

I am due Jan 31st and they are planning to have my shower first week of Nov due to holidays. I think end of Oct or early Nov is perfect.

End of October / very early Nov would be great, esp for a surprise!
Mine is 2 mos before my due date, which is nice so I have lots of time to get the rest of things I need and organize.
