When should I expect the first trick-or-treaters?
I'm working from home today, when do you think the first kids will start to come? I've never been home on halloween during the day.

I noticed alot seem to come after dinner, which for us in the past was about 5pm.

I've had as early as 2pm, usually toddlers and babies at that time but the bulk seem to come between 4pm-6pm

Working from home too- in my PJ's of course! I better make sure I get dressed and throw some make up on before the first round! Don't want to scare the poor kids!

I was home sick two years ago and had TONS of kids after about 3, but the majority was between 4 - 5.

i was off last year and our first was at around 3pm..
i think once school is out before it gets dark is the busy time!

We are going about 4:30 and that is usually when most kids start.

Could be as early as 2:30ish when younger HS kids and MS kids get out. Then, around 3:30 - 4pm the young kids will start to come around. Some people wait until after dinner. We see the most people at around 6pm on until around 8:30 -- 9 the latest.
