When it first starts, where do you feel the movement?

So for the past week or so I've been feeling those bubbles/popcorn feelings in my lower abdomen, somewhere halfway betwen my belly button and my bikini area, but closer to the bikini area. Is this the area where I should be feeling the baby? I just don't want to be thinking I'm feeling the baby and find out that it has only been gas this whole time! I'm 18 weeks, 3 days.

That's around where I felt them the first time too. Sometimes I felt a "swirling" feeling all around my tummy which I think was the baby changing positions. It's SO awesome isn't it??!! I love feeling that little peanut move. I can't wait for the kicks and punches too!!

I have always felt the baby in that same area.

Thanks ladies! My DH keeps asking me if/when I am feeling it and I would feel horrible if i was telling him it was the baby and it was just gas bubbles. The past two days it has been more like the swirling feeling than the popping/bubbles. Yay for baby!
