when is the next sonogram after 20wks?
i am 29 wks. my last sonogram was at 20 wks!
how many do you get after the 20 wk appt.?
i am dying to see my little one!

Most practitioners don't do another sono after 20 W unless you are measuring big, have Gestational Diabetes, or another medical complication.

I am over 32 wks and have not had one since about 19wks. My doctor doesn't have any scheduled for me so I'm not sure. I wouldn't mind seeing my little guy again so I'm curious too.

I had a growth sono at 32 w and will have another next week at 36 since he is apparently large and in charge. Seems to be split on whether docs do additional sonos after the level II or not - some do, and some only seem to if there is a medical reason.

Generally 20 weeks is the last one unless there is a medical necessity for it. I have to have 3 growth sonos in my 3rd trimester starting at 28 weeks due to my PAPP-A bloodwork results.

My doctor's office does a growth sono at 34 weeks. I haven't had a sono since 16 or 17 weeks so I'm looking forward to it. Not all practices give growth sonos though.

seriously That really stinks, I feel more comfortable seeing the little one on screen, because it gives me more comfort knowing that He/She is ok.
