When they're married and living on their own, and even then, I'll worry. Chat Icon

But to really answer you question, I started to feel a little more relaxed at every major milestone--making it past the first trimester, after the ultrascreen, the 20 week sono. Now I'm 30 weeks and don't get me wrong, I'm still nervous about things, especially as new symptoms start emerging, but on the whole, I don't get as scared/freaked as I did in the beginning. I'm sure my biggest sigh of relief will come when LO is out in the world and I hear his/her healthy cry for the first time.

This is how I will feel... Maybe next time after 16/20wks I will breathe a little, but I know I will never feel like it's really all ok until the baby is in my arms.

The last time I felt like it was all ok at 10/12wks which is probably what it is for most people. A complication later on is very RARE but since I had one the first time, I'm just scarred for life. In reality for most people, it really is fine as you get closer to the end of the first tri Chat Icon

I'm the same exact way!!
At nearly 34 weeks, I am still nervous and worried ALL the time.
If all looks great at 8w2d, I would just breathe, relax and begin to enjoy this pregnancy! If GOD FORBID anything were to happen, it would be completely out of your (or should I say OUR) control anyway. Chat Icon Chat Icon Chat Icon

honestly, never. but my mind was more at ease at around 14 weeks (that's when we told people), and even more so when we did the anatomy scan and got back the sequential screening results (both at 19 weeks).

This is how I feel-at 23 weeks I'm still forever on alert and aware of everything.
