Re: when does the fatigue stop?

I was utterly exhausted from my BFP until around 13-14 weeks with both pregnancies. The second trimester has always been glorious for me and then it all starts going to cr@p again once I enter the third tri. Chat Icon

Hang in there.......you'll feel better soon. Chat Icon

Re: when does the fatigue stop?

For me the second trimester got a little bit better at the end of it. I am now at the beginning of my third and feel the best I have felt all pregnancy! Hang in there!

I'm 12 weeks and still so tired. It doesn't help that I'm chasing after a 2 year old all day either. Hoping it ends soon!

Re: when does the fatigue stop?

At 14 weeks I noticed the fatigue was gone. Not exactly sure when it stopped but def by 14.

This my 2nd preg. I felt absolutely wonderful with my 1st preg. No fatigue ever, no MS. Delivered just at 37 weeks and felt great through that last day. Not uncomfortable, working FT in NYC. This time I am way more tired. OB said the 2nd preg is usually harder.

ETA: Obviously my brain is mush bc I am only 15 weeks now, so writing about what happened at 16 weeks isn't really possible yetChat Icon Fatigues ended at around 14 weeks (i previously wrote 16 weeks).

I was most fatigued from 13-15 weeks. I outed myself at work because I was literally falling asleep at my desk. It does get better.

I am 16w and still tired a lot during the day. doesn't help that I am up like clockwork every morning at 3:30 and stare at the ceiling until around 5-5:30 hoping that I will fall back asleep.

Re: when does the fatigue stop?

I was exhausted from the moment I found out we were pregnant until a few days ago - right at the 12 week mark. Now, I feel a lot better, I guess it's true what they say that when you make the transition into the 2nd trimester you feel 100% better. For me, at least, it's true.

But there were days on end (over the weekends when I didn't have work) where I just couldn't get out of bed. I slept and slept, it was lovely actually. And I would go to bed each night at like 9pm. I would do the smallest thing - like even taking a shower and just getting dressed, and I'd feel exhausted.

Needless to say I'm glad that's over Chat Icon

I'm 11 weeks 4 days and I'm still sooo tired. I've heard energy should come back soon. When I have spurts of energy I take full advantage because I know it will be short lived.

Same here- add a 1 year old in the mix Chat Icon Chat Icon Chat Icon Chat Icon

Just today I started feeling a little less tired- but I'm dreading having to go home and cook dinner then clean up and bathe the girls. I just want to crawl into bed!

when does the fatigue stop?

I started feeling a lil less tired in the second trimester but chasing after a 1 year old is exhausting so I still feel like a zombie at 23 weeks! I have come to terms with the fact that I will prob be exhausted until the kids arw grown and move out! Lol

Re: when does the fatigue stop?

Last week I closed my office door if I was by myself and closed my eyes for awhile. Or I would just sit and stare blankly at my computer zoning out.

I'm 13w4 days and although I don't feel the need to sleep 12 hours every day I do feel like sleeping 9 hours.

Unfortunately I didn't wake up one day and feel great. It's a gradual thing for me. I'm hoping in another week or 2 I'll be back to "normal". Each week is a little easier then the last.

Re: when does the fatigue stop?

Right now feels like it will never happen Chat Icon DH is getting a bit frustrated (he's trying to be understanding but it's hard). I'm 9 weeks and literally fall asleep twice every evening before bed - once on the commute home and then again around 8pm for half an hour or so. At which point I shower, get my stuff together and go to bed by 9:30 or 10. On Friday we went to ILs for dinner and I passed out on the couch at 8pm.

I hope it does get better, even for a bit!

when does the fatigue stop?

I was sleeping better in the 2nd trimester but never felt that burst of energy everyone talks about. Now at 30 weeks my insomnia is back and overall I feel worn out. So for me it was pretty much straight through....
