When does the bloat subside?

I know this is my second pregnancy, but I feel huge already. I'm 5.5 weeks and I already need to avoid tighter fitting clothes. At night, I seriously look pregnant. I've been trying to wear things with an elastic waist so I'm more comfortable especially as the day progresses.

Does the bloat go down the second time around or does it just turn into a bump? How much earlier did you need maternity clothes?

Im a first timer but this is exactly what happened to me and i started wearing meternity pants then and there!

@ around 6 weeks my ms kicked in and i wound up losing weight. I think the bloat subsided but it was hard to tell bc im a plus sized girl
