when does nesting kick in?
because my apt. looks we were robbed!    i was off all day and did absolutely NOTHING!! i just could care less its so terrible.. inside i really want to but then i think eh it can wait.. well its been more then a week  i wish i had that lil nesting bug!

I had a little bit of nesting around the new year...I was having family over and SO into baking. I went nuts. But cleaning? Nah...though once I do start cleaning, I'm on a whirlwind and can't be stopped...but that's the way I am in general. I start something and I gotta finish it.
The baking thing was definitely unusual for me! I'm thinking I wanna bake again this weekend...but it's probably because I'm dying for my chocolate chip cookies!

It's supposed to kick in shortly before you go into labor. It's an instinctual thing supposedly that has you "preparing" your home for the baby. One of my best friends called me the night before she went into labor and she was on her hands and knees scrubbing the kitchen floor. I told her she was nuts and she should go relax. Sure enough the next day, the baby came.

I never went through that. I'm am not a big fan of cleaning and do it purely out of neccesity. There was never even a remote feeling of "let me get my hiuse in shape before the baby comes" for me. My sister didn[t go through it with cleaning, but she did with food shopping. Her pantries were overflowing.

I don't know technically when it starts but I've been "nesting" since I found out I was pregnant
All the house renovations and things we needed to fix up, change, clean, organize etc we've been really working on...
having this baby has really kicked our butts to get in gear! I can't imagine when its even closer, I'll probably really be crazy nesting
