When do you stop laying on your back?
I thought I read about 16 w, but then I thought I also read 2nd trimester.
When is it?

I stopped at 16 Weeks, although I still wake up on my back at times.

i didn't stop until late 3rd trimester with both pgs until it hurt to sleep like that.
My doc said whatever postion you can get sleep in, then do it. sleep is more important.

dh bought me a snoogle as soon as we got our bfp....its great, its really helping me get used to side sleeping

I keep reading all these things about not lying on your back, but I got some email (a weekly preg one from somewhere) that said being on your back is not a problem. As long as you feel ok.
I sometimes lie on my back when my pelvis really hurts, and I have never gotten that out of breath feeling. Not that I'm saying you should do it, but I keep seeing conflicting reports on it.

yes, I have a snoogle and find it helpful on night that I just can't get comfy.
I just did not know when I should stop laying on my back,like when watching TV

I never even thought of not being able to lay on my back to watch tv....pregnancy is tough

Well when I watch tv, I;m on my back, but propped up. I think that is ok. Just flat on your back is supposed to be bad.

I just got back from my MD and she said I can sleep on my back as long as it comfortable and I am not short of breath. Just what I wanted to hear

I still wake up on my back almost every night. My doc said its not a big deal. And I think that when it comes to watching TV..as long as ur head is propped up a bit, you are fine.

I started getting used to sleeping on my left side when we were TTC. Now, I find I'm waking on my back, which I never did. If DH wakes up in the middle of the night - he rolls me over

I still sleep on my back from time to time at 29 weeks. But its never all night, I have to turn several times during the night.
My Dr said it was fine.
I am at the point where I would sleep standing on my head if I could get comfy!
