When do you start looking for Pediatricians?
And how do you find one? Does your OB recommend or do you just have to do your own research?

I asked for recomendations from friends. But DS came early and ultimately his first ped was Stony Brook Peds. I do not recommend them. I hated it there. we have moved to a private ped, that I found on my own and just made an appt. Turns out to be my cousin's ped and I love the pediatrician. She is in Lake Grove if you would like a referral.

My ob gave me rec and I asked a few friends but I ultimately found one on my own. I went to a few consultations and we like the doctor we choose. We started looking around 28 weeks.
