When do you meet with the potential ped?
I am unsure what the timeframe is on meeting with potential pediatricians. I have one I want to check out but I'm not sure WHEN to do that.

I think most people meet w/ a potential ped in the last couple of months. However, my doctor strongly encouraged me to meet with mine at the end of the second trimester. We just met with one and chose one last Friday, and I'm 26.5 weeks  .

I plan on using the dr I went to as a child so im just going to call in a few days to make sure he is taking new patients.

I just called last week (at 33 w) to set up a meeting with the one I'm hoping I'll want to go with. And I couldn't get an appt until Dec 13th (not sure if I should take that as a bad sign that it will be hard to get appts as her patient). Hopefully i won't be too early and I actually get to meet her. I'm probably going to also try to meet someone else as a backup.
