When do you lower pnp?

DD is almost 6 months and I have her in the bassinet part of the pnp. How many months was you DC when you lower it? It is very convienet to her in the bassinet since I can just change her also she like to look at the mobile. TIA!

Re: When do you lower pnp?

i believe when they can roll over and pull up you are supposed to lower it.

It all depends on what you are comfortable with and how long you leave your child in there.

If your child can pull up and you leave them unattended in it, they can risk injury. If you are just using it to change while you are right there, it should be fine.

I think there is a weight limit printed on it or in the manual somewhere. If I remember correctly, it's 15 lbs.

There are weight limits. My girls were a year old and standing before they hit the weight limit. I took it out once they were sitting up or pulling from a laying position.

I lowered it after she started sitting up on her own.

I must be thinking of a completely different thing. The bassinet in a pack and play? Isn't that the thing they use for just a couple of months? Doesn't it just come out?

I thought the weight limit was 15 lbs on those?
