When do you do the hospital tour?
DH keeps asking so he knows where we need to go. He knows he will be in panic mode. I have assured him childbirth is nothing like TV

I just went this past Saturday at 37 weeks.
You should call your hospital and inquire about the dates they have available. The tours/orientations fill up fast! I called at around 35 weeks and they had to squeeze me in since the next available tour was 2 weeks after my due date!

I was thinking 36 weeks but what do I know? If I did it now at 29 weeks I would not remember where to go.

i did mine around 30 weeks. Definitely call the hospital and see what dates they have available for the tours.
For mine, they only fit in a max of about 8 couples, since they need to keep the numbers down so as to not disturb patients.

Not sure about SB, but I know Winthrop has evening tours as I delivered my first there. The one I just went on was at NS Manhasset an it was on a Saturday afternoon. Both were free. I would assume most hospitals offer "off hours" tours.

We missed it. The only open tour was the day before my due date and DD was a few days early. IMO it's not necessary.

SB does free tours on sat and sun at 5pm. I would go sooner rather than later. They book up a couple weeks in advance. You also don't want to be huge and exhausted walking round like I did
