When do we look for pediatricians?
I think this has been asked before, but I am becoming overwhelmed with the growing list of things to do before DD gets here....
At what point in my pregnancy should I start looking for a pediatrician? I want to be on top of this, as I know it's important.

You can start when you want to. Not sure your due date, but why not start now? this way its one thing you can take your time with and hopefully conquer early and not have to worry about.

We personally didn't do any interviewing or "looking". We took the recommendation of a trusted friend/doctor and just called up that ped to tell them that we were expecting & ask if they were taking new patients. We just figured if we didn't care for the ped, we could always switch.

Anytime you want - 30 weeks is a good time to start in case for some reason it takes a bit to make an appt for a consult or you go early you are prepared. Then it is out of the way.

I'm 10 weeks ahead of you and haven't really done this yet.  I got the name of a pediatrician from my doctor, but I haven't called to ask questions or anything. I'm planning on doing this soon though. I don't think you need to worry about this until you're around 30 weeks.

i already know who i want to use its my ped i used up untill i was 21 and im only 23 so i have a very close bond with the 2 doctors in the office. I guess i will call them when im about 30 weeks. ihave a WAYS to go!

This is what I'm doing!! I didn't see the need in interviewing pediatrician. I asked the OB at my last appointment for reccomendations.
