When did your child start to whine...All. The. Time.

Let me preface this by saying that DD is an extremely happy baby. However, I have noticed that at 15 months she is whining about everything, especially is she does not get her way.
She throws a FIT if we shut the tv off (she watches 1 show in the morning and 1 at night).
She freaks out if we do not let her touch the computer, the remote control, our phones.
She screams BLOODY MURDER if we do not let her get out of the shopping cart to run around.

I seriously think that she is starting her terrible 2's early.....I don't even know how to discipline her.

For example, if she starts climbing the stairs (I cannot get a gate that fits and we are moving soon) and I say NO and remove her. She laughs and goes right back.

I am at my wits end. I feel that if I do not start disciplining her now she will turn into a crazy woman!!!! HELP!

That's about when it started for DD too and over time i've learned to try to avoid the situation where a tantrum might start... for ex: hide the remote, distract her away from the TV before turning it off, hide your phones, bring snacks when going shopping, etc.

We also did start doing time out around that age and even if she didn't understand it, it did distract her enough to forget what she was doing that she wasn't supposed to (most of the time).

DD just turned 2, I want to say it started somewhere between 16-18 months and has not stopped yet, it hasn't gotten better but DD is not a miserable child, she is a very good girl but the whining we are trying to work on.
