When did you tell people?

I am currently 8w4d pregnant. We already told our immediate families and our best friends that we are expecting. I wanted to wait until the 12 week mark to tell everyone else, but I'm getting impatient.

I tried to hold out but most people with the exception of work knew by the time I was 7 weeks.

we told our immediate families at 8 weeks, and the rest family/friends after 12 weeks.

As soon as we got our BFP we told our families and close friends...that was at 4 1/2 weeks. I I told my boss at 6 weeks, only bc I was bleeding and was very emotional. We couldn't hold it in, and our thinking was, if god forbid something happened those are the people we would turn to for support.

We told our parents around 7 weeks, then our siblings around 10 week. Everyone else we waited until about 12 week or longer.

I did tell my boss about 10 weeks as well, because I thought she suspected but the rest of work I didnt tell until 12 weeks.

told our parents the day we found out about 4 weeks, close friends at 5 weeks, job and everyone else at 10 weeks

I'm approaching week 5 and so far we have told our immediate family and a few co-workers whom I close with.

We plan on telling everyone else in 2 weeks after my second sono and we hear the baby's heart beat.

This has the be "the" hardest secret I have ever had to keep from anyone. I just want to scream it to the world, I'M PREGNANT!!!

Once we got the 8 week sono, we told family and then as we saw friends, etc we started telling them too. We had no choice - the second we told our parents, they basically wanted to take out a billboard so we just went with it. I would have liked to have waited until 12 weeks for others but luckily everything's worked out ok since.

Since our immediate family knew about my m/c, we told them the day we found out at 4wks. Siblings we told a few days later, up until 5wks.

I told one friend who knew about my m/c at 10wks and the rest at 13w4d (b/c that's when I saw them). I told most of my extended family (aunts/uncles/cousins) at 13w6d b/c my mom threw a bday party for me so I could announce it (well, DH did it).

I still haven't told work (and really don't want to !)
