When did you tell?

I was just wondering when everyone told their families and friends they were pregnant? How soon did you spread the good news?

Pretty much the same week I found out - I couldnt help it!!!

We told our parents and siblings a few days after getting our BFP - then we told our aunts, uncles, cousins after we saw the heartbeat. Everyone else - found out at 12 - 13 weeks....

We told our parents and some close friends right away, but we wanted to wait until 12 weeks to tell other family members. My MIL blabbed our news right away, but my parents kept it quiet until 12 weeks.

I did right away, within a 1 -2 weeks of finding out. I was too excited to keep it a secret!

we still haven't told and i'm going on 10 weeks. We're waiting for 12 weeks.

I told my family at about 5 weeks. We wanted to tell everyone together so we waited for Christmas Eve.

Close friends I told right away, since they wanted to know why I wasn't drinking at my wedding (New Year's Eve).

Co-worker friends I told at 12 wks.

I told immediate family at 5 weeks and extended family about 9 weeks. I just told other friends this week..I'm 10w2d.

We wanted to wait until 12 weeks, but I figure we're close enough

Family, siblings and close friends we told as soon as it was confirmed. everyone else we waited until about 3 months. (my nosy co-workers kept finding out)

Before I had my m/c...we told that same day I found out.
After that, we waited the 3 months. It was so hard keeping in that we were expecting twins for that long.

with my first son we told my mom when we found out but the rest of the family we waited till after 3 months because I had MC 5 days before conceiving my son so we were scared but with this pregnancy we told everyone within the first 3 weeks cause i had been trying for so long I couldnt hold it in

We told our familes/friends at 8 weeks on Mother's Day. We had just seen the heartbeat a couple days prior so we decided to break the news on Mother's Day.

We told our family right away but waited until I was 14-15 weeks to tell our friends

the same day we got our BFP which was Easter sunday!

I told my mom over the phone the night I tested (after DH confirmed that he saw what I saw). When AF was late I told my mom and so she knew I was suspicious. She told my dad while we were on the phone. I told my riding instructor the next day so she would know if I behaved strangely or suddenly didn't want to do certain things. We told my IL's when we went to Poland a few weeks after BFP and then we shared with the rest of the friend and family and 11 weeks.

I got my BFP about two weeks before Christmas. We decided to tell our families on Christmas Eve. It was great!
