When did you stop bringing extra clothes in your diaper bag?
I feel like I bring practically everything but the kitchen sink when I go out with the two kids. Do you carry around extra clothes in your diaper bag? Just in the car? Not at all anymore? I'd like to cut it down to a minimum amount of items.

I can't remember when I stopped, maybe when they were 1?? If we're only out for errands and such, I don't bring a change of clothes. If we'll be gone awhile, I do. Or I leave a set in the car.

DD is a year and I still carry extra clothes.
I'll tell you about the one time I didn't have any clothes. I was in Target, she peed through her diaper and her onesie and pants were wet. No biggie I thought, I'll just change her in the restroom. I reach in the bag..no clothes. I couldn't put the wet pants back on her or the onesie! Sooo, I trek out into the store with a pantless child in the shopping cart covered with a blanket on a mission to find pants. I am at the checkout paying, the cashier is admiring DD goes to put the pants in a bag, I said I won't be needing a bag, she is wearing those so we can go shop since she has no pants on. The woman looked at me like I was nutso  Sooo I always carry extras

My sons are 4 and 6. I still have a change of clothing with me in the car wherever I go! And I have used those changes more than i can tell you!

DS is 2 and DD is 9 months and I always have clothes and if we are out the whole day, like when we go to NY then I also have pj's on top of that for each of them.

I stopped always carrying extra clothes when DD started table foods and her poop became more formed so I stopped worrying about explosions. Most of our outings we're only gone for a few hours so I don't bother but the few times we'll be gone all day I'll bring an extra set or if we'll be out late I'll have her pj's to change into.

I only carry clothes when we will be out for an extended period of time-for at least 4-6 hours.
Otherwise i stopped carrying clothes everyday in my normal diaper bag around 3-6 months old.

I keep everything in the car. I don't schlep it everywhere I go. It makes it much easier that way.
