When did you start using a booster seat at the table?
DD is 16 months old. She still uses her highchair, but more & more she wants to sit at the table with us and eat there. Do you think she's to young for this? I don't really think so..but maybe I'm not thinking it through? I'd put her in the arm chair and make sure the chair & she was strapped in.

Re: When did you start using a booster seat at the table?
DS just started using the booster seat at our table at 19 months but, he uses it when we go to other people's homes.
I don't see a problem with using it now if your DD wants to!

Re: When did you start using a booster seat at the table?
if I remember your DD is on the tall side?
DS close to her age, is almost 36" we've been on the booster with him since about 13m. Lately he's asking to sit in"daddy's seat" ... and I try to explain daddy sits there, but I hate how it makes no sense why he can't... so I've let him sit at the table and he does really well. I just can't stand that he moves all over the chair. So i use the booster most of the time, but I really feel like by 18m its gonna go. He can get in and out of chairs on his own pretty easily.
eta: something is wrong with me today, I'm working from home and every adding n't to every single word that can use it, without thinking lol

Never. At 19 months DS started refusing the high chair and would climb himself up on the chair. He kneels at the table and eats that way. We never bought a booster.

DD is tall..about 34 inches. She moves around a lot on the chair too, which is why I want to get a booster- with a seat belt! she insists on being strapped into the highchair when she's in it (thank goodness!) so, I'm hoping she'll be good in the boooster with the belt.
Guess I'm making a trip to BBB this weekend!
