When did you start feeding table food??
At the boys 6 month appointment the pediatrican told me around 7 months to start them on little bits of table food...for example pastina. They are 7 months now and i was wondering when you all started giving table food to your babies on top of all the other food.
Also they are on stage 2 foods...do i move them to stage 3 soon?? Should i wait a little bit longer. They def stare at me and DH when we eat longingly. I just don't know when to start this all.
Thanks for any advice you all can give me.

DS is almost 8 months old and he does not eat table food. Sometimes I give him a bite or so of something that I am eating.

I moved Christopher from Stage 2 to stage 3 when he got to the point that he was eating the entire jar of stage 2 and looking for more. I *think* he was around 7.5 months at that point. As for table foods, he started the Gerber puffs at 8 months (though Kaylee just started them at 6 months) and I started giving him bits of things after that. He REALLY started chowing down on table foods around 10 months.

We started at around 6 months with slices of cucumber, rice cakes and bananas...he just played with them for while, but he eventually got the hang of it

Yup  Two bottom are totally in and their two tops are about half way in.
They both look really hungry when they are all done with the level 2 jars (1 each), so I'm kind of in a bind of what to do.
They are pretty big boys for their ages too...about 20 pounds each! Maybe I should hold off for a bit so they don't get too fat???

Around 7 months I started with small things, pastini mixed with her baby food, then we gradually went to pankcakes, cheese mash potatoes, around 9 months small pieces of chicken, bread, now at almost 12 months she is eathing grilled cheese, jelly sandwiches, meat, but not every day depends on what we are having, yogurt. I have been trying anything I think she won't choke on.

I think 8 months we started yougurts, pastina, small pastas then moved up from there. She was on all table food by a year old.
