When did you start buying things for your L&D bag?
Hey girls.....
JW....When did you start buying all of the things for your L & D bag....like the small travel things.....nursing bra(if you BF), big pjs?
Im a big planner...but I dont wanna wait till the last minute!

Maybe around 34/35 weeks. I bought all travel size stuff from Target.
My bag has been packed less, everyday items since then.

I was around 35 weeks too. The only thing I really had to order were nursing tanks.

Honestly as a VERY good sale and coupon approached. I bought stuff throughout the whole pg since I am a huge bargin shopper. I just put it all in a store bag and stored it in my closet. At about 28wks I started packing my bag and took stock of what I still needed and bought it as I could. I had my bag packed 3 times since I went into preterm labor, so my suggestion is if you see something on sale and you like it get it. At the very least you won't feel pressure to get that done too since the end can seem overwhelming with the to-do list!
I am 19w4d and have the mommy and baby set from ON that was on sale and on sale again I just ordered, I have pads I got for free for home with a sale and a coupon, I have all my travel lotion, soap, shampoo, conditioner because I had coupons and they were on sale, and I have some slippers that I got on clearence as well. Even if I get these things later it won't go bad and we travel so it's not a waste...oh and I also got a robe on clearence and on sale at Target for $3.00

I think I had my bag fully packed and ready to go by 35 weeks the latest-- so I prob started buying stuff by 30ish weeks.

I started around 25 weeks and just finished packing it and put it by the door friday. I took my time to make a list to make sure I had everything this time.

Let's see... water broke at 8:55am and we packed around 9:15am LOL.
I didn't buy anything special. DH did buy me an exercise ball. I didn't need much so I didn't go out buying anything new.
My first night I stayed in my hospital gown. I was afraid I'd ruin my pjs. Second day I changed into pjs. I brought 3 pairs, only used 1.
Brought socks, never used.
Forgot to bring shampoo so I used J&J baby head to toe LOL
Had my make up bag with me with no desire to even put any on.
I guess you can say I just went with the flow. My main packing concern was phones/chargers and cameras/chargers.
