When did you start buying maternity shirts?
I am 18 weeks and just bought my first maternity sweater today and I love it so much I think I will wear it tomorrow! I have a few other tops my mom gave me but havent worn them yet. I have been trying to stick to finding non maternity tops that are looser fitting for now but I went into to motherhood maternity today with DH and he was picking things out for me so I couldnt help myself!

i probably started around 12 weeks, i went into a store and bought 2 shirts, now 18 weeks i want more, they are just so much more comfortable and fit better,
if i buy a larger size in regular clothes, they look silly on me, they just hang on me and then over my belly
now i need to buy a few pairs of pants

I am 24 wks now and can get away with a some non maternity shirts, not many though...it really depends on the style. A lot of regular shirts out there are suitable for preggers...to a certian point.

I am 19 weeks - I started buying shirts this week after my mom bought me two sweaters for Chanukah. It makes such a difference! I also bought a bunch of sweaters that were just one size up - and those are even starting to get tight. I went to destination maternity this week and just went for it. Everything is so much more comfortable...it really is worth it. I also borrowed some clothes from friends - if you have any friends who have had babies ask if they can lend you some stuff. That helps a lot too - no need to buy a whole wardrobe of maternity clothes!

I don't know about any of you, but I don't know how long it will be before I get into maternity shirts! Not that I'm not growing, heaven knows I have the most obvious baby bump going, but I think that since I'm 4'11'' that the shirts are all WAY too long on me! I tried on so many shirts at DM and they looked like moo moo's!

I had stuff from my other pregnancies and wore my shirts as early as like 10 weeks. Alot of my stuff doesnt LOOK like maternity, but it is. H&M used to carry alot of stretchy grow-with-me type maternity shirts so I wore those alot when I was bloated...

About 14 weeks. My belly isn't so big but my boobs are hitting porn star status so I just went into maternity shirts.

at 23 weeks, I can still fit into most of my pre-preggo tops (i only have a few specifically "Maternity" ones)... Pants are another story

I'm going to be 15 weeks and started wearing maternity tops last week. I have some items in my wardrobe that I can get away with that are non-maternity, so I am mixing maternity and non at the moment. I am still in regular jeans.
