When did you start buying baby stuff yourself?

I am only 29 weeks but I'm debating buying some small items now from bbb while I have coupons that haven't expired yet. If I have a shower it will be at the end of june and I have a very small family that won't be able to afford much. I figure I can buy some items while I have coupons I can use and return them later if someone happens to purchase them.

I am pretty superstitious about buying stuff early and we just bought a crib(since it was on super sale) that I wont even bring in the house until the baby is here. Buying stuff early is literally only a saviing $$$ thing since bbb dosent accept expired coupons and I doubt I will get much from familyand will need to buy this stUff anyways.

Should I buy or hold off? When did you start buying items if at all?

by stuff do you mean anything? we bought our furniture and started setting up the nursery around 26'ish weeks.

my shower was 2 weeks ago and i went to BRU 2 days ago to buy some finishing decor for the nursery but i havent bought any clothes for the baby since we are

The day i found out the gender, LOL, i didn't wait long but this is my 2nd child and im a planner, im 24 weeks and the nursery is almost done, i like to be ahead of the game.

i've bought a few items of clothing, the nursery furniture and some decorations for the nursery. but im not buying anything else until after my shower.

I started buying stuff around 12 weeks the first time. This time, I guess I'll pick up the stuff that I need as I see things on sale.

we started buying stuff after our shower (which was at 33weeks) but i think that had more to do with that's when we really started going to BBB the most and not because of any real reason

Im 23 weeks and the only thing I have bought so far is clothes. They are too cute to pass up. People have given me things but I havent bought anything.

I cant wait to go crazy after my shower.

ETA: I have bought the furniture but I haven't even started on the nursery.

We've only bought 1 thing for the baby ourselves the entire pregnancy. It was a cute little hoodie for Halloween.

Other than that, not a thing. EVERYTHING we could need/want we received at the shower.

Once our comes, we will know the gender and more clothes will be bought. But as far as other baby items, there just doesn't seem to be a need because people were very generous and my house is already overflowing with baby stuff.
